Thank you for your interest in substituting for the Gonzales Independent School District and becoming our Partner in Education. Substitute teaching is an important educational component in our schools and we appreciate your efforts in helping to facilitate the learning process.

How to become a substitute teacher for Gonzales ISD:

• New substitutes: Apply online (application available when trainings are scheduled)
• Returning Substitutes: You will receive an email to the email address on file by the end of July with instructions.
• All onboarding documents are completed electronically via TalentEd Records.

How to view available jobs:

• Once you have completed your training and background check, you will receive an email from Frontline with your Aesop credentials.

How often do I get paid and what are the rates:

• Once a month according to the period schedule
• Pay Rates
