Mrs. Rena Gray

This is my 12th year teaching Music at East Avenue Primary School.  Music is a very important part of early childhood education. In short, Science has proved that singing and playing even the simplest classroom instruments helps with brain development. Here in my classroom, we're not so concerned about Scientific evidence, but more concerned with making learning fun and engaging.  When I see them leave my classroom and go bopping down the hall, singing and dancing to the song I just put in their heads, I know I've succeeded!

  • "The Christmas Musical with No Name"  will be presented at East Avenue's cafeteria on Dec. 3rd and Dec. 4th at 5:30 p.m.

Dec. 3rd - the classes of Camarillo, Blundell, Stowers, Ramos, and Oakes will perform.

Dec. 4th - the classes of Anzaldua, Vasquez, Carrizales, Garcia, and Polcyn will perform.

Students need to arrive at the EA Gym no later than 5:20 p.m.
