Governor Abbott, in reference to the COVID-19 situation, has extended the social-distancing guidelines until April 30 and has closed schools until May 4. There have been COVID-19 cases that have identified around our area. With this in mind, Gonzales ISD has made the difficult decision to extend the closure of our campuses and facilities until Monday, May 4, 2020.
Please note: Meal pick up and remote instruction will continue.
This decision will be re-evaluated as more information becomes available. If it appears possible at that time, we will begin announcing procedures and a date for a return to normal operations. If we are unable to plan for a return, we will instead provide information on year-end events like graduation.
Thank you for your support and cooperation as we ensure that all members of the community in Gonzales ISD stay safe and healthy.
