How does my child qualify for Pre-K?
Must be 4 years old on or before September 1st
From a family whose income is at or below subsistence level (eligible for free or reduced lunch program) Parents must provide proof of income which include current check stubs or SNAP qualification letter.
Unable to speak or comprehend the English Language
Children of active duty member of the armed forces of the United States or Reserves
Children who are or ever have been in the conservatorship of the Dept. of Family and Protect Services
What do I need to bring to registration?
Certified Birth Certificate
Social Security Card
Immunization Record
Parent ID
Proof of Residence (water/electric/rental agreement or mortgage lease in parent/guardian name)
Proof of Income (last pay stub for all household members or copy of SNAP letter (if applicable)
Foster Care Families (Letter or paper work from the Department of Family and Protective Services)
Military Qualification (Department of Defense ID or copy of orders for reservists to verify placement on active duty)
