Welcome to 8th grade Science!

I am a third year teacher but have been a public school paraprofessional for 22 years. I started at Brookshire Junior High for one year then went to Brazos High School, in Wallis, for ten years. I moved to Weimar Junior High and Weimar High School where I was ISS supervisor, life skills paraprofessional, SWAG paraprofessional and special education paraprofessional. I finally had the opportunity to complete my college degree starting in June of 2019. I went back and obtained my Bachelors of Science in General Studies(Education and Business) from Texas A&M -Commerce in May of 2020.

I was blessed to have the opportunity to come to Gonzales Junior High and teach. I taught 7th grade Math my first year here, then I was asked to move to Science in 2021. I love teaching 8th grade Science.  I love the students and staff at GJHS and feel like I have found a home!
