Supplemental Special Education Services (SSES) is giving a one-time $1,500 online grant, on a first-come, first served basis, to parents of eligible students served by special education who are enrolled in a Texas public school.

If your presence is requested at a GISD facility, you WILL be screened for COVID-19 symptoms. Part of the screening process for visitors will include temperature checks. Mask wearing is recommended for all visitors.

TAX CODE 26.05: GONZALES INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 0.018 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $19.60.
