    Please visit the NEW to GISD page for steps to complete the process. Any student currently NOT enrolled with GISD (even if your student attended GISD at any point of their educational career) must enroll using the NEW to GISD process.

  • Use a Device Connected to the Internet
    Any device that can connect to the Internet will work to process your application.

    Required Documents for New to District Students
    1. Certified copy of birth certificate
    2. Proof of residence (copy of current utility bill, current lease, or mortgage statement)
    3. Student Social Security Card
    4. Parent/Guardian drivers License or Photo ID
    5. Proof of immunization

    Tip1: Scan or take a picture of documents before beginning the registration process so they can be attached to the application.
    Tip 2: If you cannot attach documents, please bring them to the registration event.
    Tip 3: Please make sure the photo/scan appears clear and easy to read.

    Returning Students
    Students are already enrolled and attending Gonzales ISD. The student will show his/her current grade level until the district rolls over to the new year in July.
