  • If you are needing to pick up or return a registration packet for the 2020-2021 school year please contact your student's campus and make an appoitment to meet with the campus registrar. 

    All students must have a complete registration packet turned in before class schedules, teacher assignment or technology will be distributed.

  • Due to the adjustment of Food Services, GISD must now collected information from each family pretaining to Socioeconomic Information. This form is replacing the traditional food service form that was required to qualify for lunch benefits. Please sensure that this form has been recieved by the district for your family before school begins!

  • 2020-2021

    Registration for New and Returning GISD Students

    Registration for the 2020-2021 school year will begin for ALL students, to include students new to GISD as well as returning students, on May 11, 2020. 

    Registration forms can be printed and emailed to GISD.Registration@gonzalesisd.net

    Students new to GISD are required to provide copies of the following:

    1.   Parent(s) ID, 

    2.   Student social security cards, 

    3.   Birth certificate, 

    4.   Shot records, 

    5.   Proof of residency, and

    6.   Prior district educational records (if applicable). 

    NOTE: Families are welcome to email this information to the above email address or call the student’s campus to arrange a time for these documents to be delivered. 

    Paper copies of the registration forms can be picked up on May 11th, or May 18th from your student’s campus between the hours of 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Registration forms can be dropped off on May 18th or May 26th at your student’s campus between the hours of 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

    Returning GISD students will need to have a registration packet completed prior to the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year. 

    NOTE: If the family’s address has changed a new proof of residency is required.  Proof of residency that will be accepted are:

    1. Rental agreements,

    2. Mortgages,

    3. House/Renters Insurance,

    4. Landline Cable Bills,

    5. Landline internet Bills,

    6. Electricity Bills,

    7. Utility Bills, and 

    8. Gas Bills.


    Early Registration will end on May 18th. Additional registration events will be scheduled before school begins in August.
