The Assessment and Accountability Department serves in various capacities for the district which include the following:
Campus and District Accountability and Improvement
The monitoring of compliance with state and federal accountability systems as well as the reporting of the accountability results. The collection, analyzing and reporting of a variety of data for district and campus leadership which supports and guides district and campus planning. The monitoring and accountability of locally adopted plans such as: district improvement plans, district of innovation plans, and strategic plans.
State Assessment Testing
The coordination of training, security, administration and processing of state and federally mandated assessments for the district. The assessments include all version of the State of Texas Assessments and Academic Readiness (STAAR) and the Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System (TELPAS).
State Reporting
The submission of data reported through the Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS), PID Enrollment Tracking (PET) and Texas Records Exchange (TREx) systems.
