  • The mentoring program at Gonzales ISD is to promote teacher retention and consistency among educators. Our mentoring program is focused on communication, loyalty, work ethic, and positive culture. GISD is invested in teacher retention and consistency among our educators. Teachers with 0 to one years of experience will be attending meetings once every 6 weeks and have visits throughout the school year. We want to increase job satisfaction and support teachers to emerge as leaders within their schools, but also have a positive impact on students with achievement and engagement.  GISD is building capacity to GROW GREATNESS in our community. #Gonzalesnow
